I can't find any other cases of this particular problem on Google, and the only cases which are similar seem to have been dealt with relatively easily via an installation of a new anti-malware program, or a system restore. Someone also suggested that there was the possibility that someone else was getting to my computer via my network and messing with me manually, but I doubt anyone would be so tenacious in trying to make me miserable whenever I'm online, and none of the other computers on my network are being affected. I've downloaded multiple different anti-malware and 'anti-keylogging' programs since I noticed it happening (after checking their credibility of course), looked at a couple different anti-virus programs (Though ultimately stayed with AVG), and have done long hours worth of scanning and cleaning, only to find myself in the same spot I started.Īt first I just assumed it was a regular old key-logger of some sort I got from a bad download or something because it would press the buttons in exactly the same manner in which I press them in-game but I'm not really sure anymore because through all of this time trying to get rid of it, it still only spams my W, A, S, D, Q & G keys as well as my mouse, rather than recording any of my conversations or other key-strokes on the various websites that I visit. It can be quite frustrating when trying to modify Microsoft Word documents. My keyboard will at seemingly random intervals start pushing my W, A, S, D, Q, & G buttons on its own, as well as clicking my mouse sporadically on its own (Only the buttons which are often pressed while playing first person shooter games).Īt first this would happen only when playing Counter Strike: Global Offensive via Steam (And it happened often during this time), however it's now happening when I'm surfing the internet, playing other games, and even when I'm just sitting at my desktop.
